NAMLA the autonomous robotic

NAMLA

Designed by students at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, NAMLA is an open source omnidirectional autonomous mobile robot. NAMLA, the Arabic word for ant, has been designed to carry heavy packs of food long distances while using its sensory skills to navigate the urban terrain. It has four DC motors, four Swedish mecanum wheels, and multiple embedded control systems, in this video, we used Arduino. IMU and infrared sensors can be added and programmed to NAMLA to improve indoor navigation and avoid obstacles. The robot can also be controlled manually through a joystick.
